In short: milinia sets no cookies, uses no analytics services, loads nothing from third-party servers and does not know who you are unless you write to us.

Server log files

Our hosting provider stores the usual technical data for every request (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security purposes and deletes them after a short time. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not evaluate these logs for profiling.

Fonts, images, videos, maps and scripts

Everything on this site is delivered from our own domain. No Google Fonts, no external scripts, no embedded maps or videos from third parties. The maps are drawn by our own code from public-domain outlines; they never contact a map service.

Calculators, checks and quiz

All calculators, the subsidy finder, the insurance check and the money type quiz run in your browser. They store your inputs and your quiz result in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there on your next visit. Nothing is transmitted to us. You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.

Sharing on social networks

The share buttons are plain links. Only when you click one does the respective network open in a new window and learn which page you want to share. No network is contacted when you open our pages. Result images are drawn in your browser.

Buying, advice, newsletter and contact

If you have a watch or gold estimated, request a gold investment consultation, a property valuation or a portfolio check, subscribe to the newsletter or use the contact form, we store the data you enter (name, email, where given phone, postcode and your details about the item) to process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or (a) (newsletter). The data is stored on our server in Germany and transmitted by email to our editorial team. We do not pass it on to third parties unless you expressly ask to be referred to a partner. Requests are deleted no later than twelve months after completion, newsletter addresses when you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to info@milinia.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
